Empire State of Mind

Empire State of Mind

Another year, another New York trip. My annual Nov NYC trip has come and gone. This trip is great because it encompasses family (my children, parents, granny, cuzzo, her kids, aunties, etc.), great food, great shopping, and the for the first year my LOML. I was in heaven to say the least. We went to dinner at KOI (a every year fave) along with hitting the lower lever club, Nobu, perused Soho (one of my absolute faves), and thanks to my LOML walked right in Greenhouse. The kids saw Annie, went to Central Park and rode the horses, went to Bryant Park, American Girl, Buildabear, and visited my sis and her new baby on Long Island….whew is all I can say. This trip I took just a couple pics. Not much to see as you’ve seen it years past and I really didnt dress up fab any night :( ..Next trip :). On a side note, this is the first trip in a while that I barely wore my clips. Not very usual for me but its way  easier when I have my kids with me not to have someone else’s hair in my head lol. Also, my bff in NYC were my Isabel Marant snakeskin black sneakers, pure #dopeness and super comfortable!

How bout dem Cowboys??

How bout dem Cowboys??

Ok, I didn’t go anywhere near a Cowboys game but I just had to call this post that as I luvvvvvv that phrase lol. I did, however, go to Dallas to hang out with my great friend Valeisha . While there I was lucky enough to attend the Mavs home opener, and helped V cheer on her  hubby Dahntay and his new teammates. I also attended a celebrity charity event for my LOML’s cousin that was uber nice. They were auctioning off great prizes from a pair of Louboutins (that’s right ladies!!) to a Tiffany diamond bezel watch (MANNNNN) for dirt cheap, all in the name of charity.. And as usual the best part was spending qt with both my LOML and a very dear sister friend . It was my first time in Dallas and I can definitely understand why someone would want to relo there. The shopping is crazy and the weather is amaze. It was sunny and 85 degrees every day we were there…can you imagine?? And then I came home to 41 and gray..wtf.
